Two simple steps are required to take the TOGAF® and or ArchiMate® proctored exams at our training location.
Step 1 – Create your opengroup account id.
- Goto the The Open Group website and create your account: https://www.opengroup.org/create-account
- Already have an The Open Group account, check your succefull login: https://www.opengroup.org/sso/user/login
- Congratulations you now have created an account and you will be able take the TOGAF® and ArchiMate® exam from our location.
Step 2 – Install the Exambrowser so you can take the exam on your own laptop (Optional)
You now have the opportunity to take the proctored exam using your own laptop. This requires the download of a SecureBrowser executable on your windows machine. The SecureBrowser monitors that you are not running whatsapp etc. If the application runs it works.
Using your own laptop is optional, we can also provide a laptop to you.
- Click on the link to download the SecureBrowser executable
- After download double click on it and the executable extracts into your downloads folder.
- You are technically ready for the exams once the Securebrowser opens (press ctrl-alt-delete to cancell).
Step 3 – PearsonVue Connection Check. Done by trainer during the training.
During the training the trainer will check with you that you can succesfully connect to your exam environment.
This requires that you (a) are able login with your account ID and (b) connect to the PearsonVue exam enivorment.
- It is no secret so if you want to move foreward and see goto: https://certification.opengroup.org/take-exam
- Check all the boxes and login
- Go to the bottom of the page and click „Proceed to Pearson VUE“
- You are connected to person vue. If that works you are super good to go.
- Again, the trainer will check this with you during training.
